Andhra Assembly: Chandrababu Naidu dethrones Jagan Reddy

Hyderabad: In the Andhra Pradesh Assembly Election Results 2024, early trends are showing a strong performance by the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). Out of the total 175 seats, TDP was leading in 130 seats, having won one seat, routing the ruling Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP).

With TDP leading in a significant number of Constituencies, there is a strong indication of their potential to form the next Government in Andhra Pradesh.

While the TDP was leading in 130 Assembly seats, its alliance partners, Janasena Party (JNP) was leading in 20 and the BJP is set to win from seven seats.

In the Andhra Pradesh LS polls, NDA is leading by 21 out of the 25 seats with TDP leading in 16, BJP in three and JNP in 2 seats. Meanwhile, YSRCP was leading only in three LS seats.

Overall, the trend highlights a decisive performance by the TDP in the State Assembly and a commanding victory for the NDA in LS seats. These outcomes are set to shape the next phase of political developments in Andhra Pradesh.
