CME on GyAn 2022 Infertility held at JSS Hospital
Mysore/Mysuru: Infertility affects 15% of married couple and JSS Hospital is offering services to these couple at nominal charges. As an addition to existing treatment, IUI treatment is offered at the Department of OBG, JSS Hospital, Mysuru.
Andrology Lab with state-of-the-art facility has been established for this purpose in JSS Hospital. The Lab is equipped with modern infrastructure for performing Semen analysis, IUI & cryopreservation of sperms, work up of infertility couple.Counselling will also be done at the Fertility Clinic in OBG OPD.
The Department of OBG is equipped with latest Endoscopy Unit for performing Hysteroscopy and Laparoscopy to treat surgically correctable cause of Infertility.
GyAn 2022, a CME on Infertility & Andrology was held at JSS Hospital by Department of OBG, Chairperson Dr. K.B. Suma, Organising Secretary Dr. S. Jayashree and Joint Secretary R.M. Sumanth, to update knowledge, skill & practices of health professionals at different levels of male infertility management.
The Andrology Laboratory at JSS Hospital was inaugurated in the presence of all the dignitaries by Dr. Surinder Singh, Vice- Chancellor, JSS AHER, chief guest of the CME and guest of honour Dr P.A. Kushalappa, Director, Academics, JSS AHER; Dr. H. Basavana Gowdappa, Principal, JSS Medical College & Hospital; Dr. C.P. Madhu, Medical Superintendent, JSS Hospital and Dr. G.V. Manjunath, Vice-Principal, JSS Medical College & Deputy Director of JSS Hospital.
Scientific session involved lectures on various Andrology oriented topic by invited faculties, Dr. Srinivas, Dr. Varsha Samson Roy, Dr. Vijayapathy S. Karthikeyan, Dr. Yogitha Sanjay, Dr. Vandana Hegde, Dr. Niveditha Shetty, Dr. Deepa Bhat and a panel discussion.
