The Following persons/ institutions have adopted the animals of Mysuru Zoo under its ‘Adoption of Animals’ scheme by paying the adoption fee: Anirudh Basavraj Paramshetti, Belagavi – Black Panther and Indian Leopard – Rs.70,000; Lions Club of Mysore Palace City and Geonet Consultant, Mysuru – Lion – Rs.1,00,000; Lions Club of Mysore – Nisarga and Mayuri, Mysuru – Lion – Rs.1,00,000; Lion Dr. G.A. Ramesh MJF, District Governor, Lions Club International District – Elephant – Rs.1,75,000, according to a press release from the Zoo.
