The following individuals / institutions have adopted the animals of Mysuru Zoo under ‘Adoption of Animals’ scheme by paying the adoption fee: Parthasarathy, Bengaluru – King Cobra (Rs. 3,500); Rashmi, Mandya – Indian Cobra (Rs. 2,000); Geeta Lokpal Vora, Maharashtra – Love Bird (Rs. 1,000), Jeevadhar Blood Bank, Mysuru – Hoolock Gibbon (Rs. 10,000), G.N. Suma Mysuru – King Cobra (Rs. 3,500); Thammesh Gowda of Karnataka Electricity Board (KEB) – Cheetah (Rs. 50,000), according to a release from the Zoo Executive Director.
