The following individuals / institutions have adopted the animals of Mysuru Zoo under ‘Adoption of Animals’ scheme by paying the adoption fee: Shetty Tuition Centre, Mysuru – Mandarin Duck (Rs. 2,000), P.R. Shetty Memorial, Mysuru – Love Bird (Rs. 1,000), Sujatha R. Shetty, Mysuru – Rose Ringed Parakeet (Rs. 2,000), Aditi Mallesh, Mandya – White Peacock (Rs. 3,500), C.R. Sudha, Mandya – Budgerigar (Rs. 2,000), Bi Bi Aysha Jeevanidhi Old Age Home, Mysuru – Indian Cobra (Rs. 2,000) and V. Chaitra, Nandini Layout, Bengaluru – Female elephant calf ‘Vedavathi’ (Rs. 1,00,000).
