Mysuru: A three-day Stop Motion Animation Workshop by Vaibhav Kumaresh, Founder and Director of Vaibhav Studios, has been organised at Indian Institute of Educational Theatre, Hardwicke School premises, JLB Road, Mysuru, from Aug. 15 to 17 from 10 am to 5 pm.
Vaibhav will throw light on what is stop motion? How can you bring everyday objects to life using the art of animation? Art of spacing and timing. He will teach how to create an animation clip on smart-phone using the space, objects and people around you.
Vaibhav is an International Emmy nominated animation film maker. In 2003, he founded Vaibhav Studios which has since then created some of India’s favourite animated content in the field of TV commercials, episodic series and channel promos. He has directed and produced a maiden Hindi feature film titled ‘Return of the Jungle.’ A Visual Art graduate, Vaibhav studied animation film making at National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. He is an active Committee Member and Hon. Secretary of The Animation Society of India (TASI). Vaibhav also teaches animation and is a Visiting Faculty at various animation and design schools across India. In 2006, the India Today magazine selected him as one of the 40 young achievers of India.
