Congratulating the winners, Pooja Agarwal said that she firmly believed that irrespective of whether one has won a medal or not, all who participated in the competition were winners. Sports also helps develop social relationships among the participants leading to a greater understanding of their role in society, she added.

My advice to youngsters is that sports not only helps in being fit but also teaches many life skills, like working in a team, improvement in our reflexes, application of mental tactics, handling of stress and most importantly sportsmanship, etc., she concluded.

E. Vijaya, Additional DRM and Vice-President of the school, executive members of the South Western Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation and the faculty of the school were present.
