Mysore/Mysuru: A Government which actually cuts ration quantity during a pandemic is definitely an anti-poor people Government, alleged Malavika Gubbivani, District Convener of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Mysuru.
The ration quantity of food grains given to BPL families under State PDS and PM Garib Kalyan Scheme has been drastically cut when poor people do not have regular means of livelihood and are finding it difficult to get two square meals a day.
AAP demands that at least 10 kg of food grains per person per month be made available to BPL card holders out of which half can be rice and the other half ragi or wheat, she said in a press statement.
