Mysore/Mysuru: Apollo BGS Hospitals, Mysuru, has organised Apollo Climbathon Challenge “Step by Step 1001 Steps” on Apr. 9 at 6.30 am from the foot of Chamundi Hill to celebrate World Health Day by promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles. It aims to bring together individuals of all ages and fitness levels to participate in a fun-filled and meaningful event.
The event will feature climbing the 1,001 steps of Chamundi Hill, with ample rest stops along the way. Water stations will also be available throughout the course. Volunteers along the route will guide the participants. After the climb, participants will be welcomed back to the finish line to enjoy refreshments, music and entertainment. There will also be health and wellness booths available for participants to learn more about healthy living, including nutrition, fitness and mental health.
The Climbathon will be held in the following categories: Children – 5 years and above; Men – 18 years and above; Women – 18 years and above; Senior citizens – 60 years and above.
