The Handloom and Textiles Department has invited applications from weavers for availing a host of benefits under various departmental schemes.

Judicial training: The Minorities Welfare Department has invited applications from eligible Law graduates belonging to minority communities for admission to Judicial training. The prescribed application forms can be obtained during office hours from the Department Office located in Maulana Azad Bhavan, beside Shobha Garden, Mysuru-Bengaluru road, Mysuru. The last date for obtaining applications is Aug.31 and last date to submit filled in forms with necessary documents is Sept. 10.
City and Rural Rehabilitation Programme: Under the Rural Rehabilitation Programme, the Department for the Empowerment of Differently-abled and Senior Citizens has invited applications from eligible candidates for appointment as City and Rural Rehabilitation workers in different parts of the district. The appointment will be purely on a contract basis, with a monthly honorarium of Rs.6,000.
SSLC passed or failed differently-abled men and women candidates in the age group of 18 to 45 years are eligible to apply. The last date for applying is Aug.26.
