University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Bengaluru, has invited applications for State, District and Taluk Level Farmer Awards. The applications can be procured at the University’s Extension Education Unit, Naganahalli, Office of the Joint Director, Department of Agriculture, Mysuru and Office of the Assistant Directors in respective taluks or can be downloaded from www.uasbangalore.edu.in
The filled-in applications must be submitted at the Joint Director Office for State and District-level Award, Taluk Assistant Directors Office for Taluk-level Awards before July 30.
The State-level Awards include, Former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda State Level Best Farmer/ Farmer Woman Award, Canara Bank-sponsored Can Bank Best Farmer/ Farmer Woman Award, Dr. M.H. Marigowda Best Horticulture Farmer Award, Dr. Dwarkinath Best Farmer/ Farmer Woman Award and Dr. R. Dwarakinath Best Extension Worker Award. District-Level Best Farmer/ Farmer Woman Award, Taluk Level Best Youth Farmer/ Farmer Woman Award. The awards to the winners will be presented during the Krishi Mela-2024 to be held at University of Agricultural Sciences in Bengaluru during November this year, according to a press release from Naganahalli Extension Education Unit Head.
