D. Devaraj Urs Backward Classes Development Corporation has invited applications for distribution of free sewing machines for women under Swavalambi Yojana (Self-reliant Scheme) for the year 2022-23.
Women belonging to Backward Classes Category- 1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B (barring Vishwakarma, Savita Samaja, Uppara, Madiwala, Ambiga, nomadic and semi-nomadic, Vokkaliga, Lingayat, Kadugolla, Hattigolla, Marata and other communities). The annual income of the family of candidates residing in urban area should not exceed Rs. 1,20,000 lakh while for those in rural area should not be more than Rs. 98,000.
The age of the applicants must be between 18 and 55 years and must submit the certificate of the tailoring classes they attended. Applications may be submitted by logging on to https://sevasindhuservices.karnataka.gov.in/ before Feb. 20.
