The Agriculture Department has invited applications from eligible farmers for availing subsidy for tarpaulin under the agricultural products processing scheme.
Farmers belonging to General category will get a 50 percent subsidy, while those from SC/ST communities will get 90 percent subsidy on purchase of 250 GSM thickness black coloured HDPE tarpaulin.
The prescribed application forms are available at Kasaba, Varuna, Jayapura and Yelwal Raitha Samparka Kendras. Last date for applying is Feb.15.
