The Department of Handlooms and Textiles has invited applications from powerloom weavers who are facing crisis due to COVID pandemic, for availing one-time financial assistance of Rs. 3,000.Other than those who have availed the financial assistance in 2020-21, all other weavers involved in pre-loom works such as twisting, winding, yarndyeing, warping, zari winding, warp knotting, sizing etc., are eligible to apply.
The eligible weavers can obtain the prescribed application forms from the Office of the Department of Handlooms and Textiles, CTI building, Sayyaji Rao Road, Mysuru and submit the same along with the required documents before July 26 through the Government’s Seva Sindhu portal.
