Mysuru: The Social Welfare Department has invited applications from talented students belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) for admission to 6th standard in prestigious schools of Mysuru District.
Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan School in Vijayanagar, Good Shepherd School in Lashkar Mohalla, Avila Convent on Krishna Vilas Road, Shastri Charitable Trust in Hunsur, St. Joseph’s School, Christ School in Thandavapura of Nanjangud, Sri Jagadguru Balagangadharanatha Swamiji Bal Jagat School in Chunchanakatte of K.R. Nagar will accommodate these students.
Students must have passed 5th standard annual exam with more than 60% marks and their annual income must be within Rs. 2 lakh. Those eligible can obtain applications from the Office of Assistant Director, Social Welfare Department or Office of Joint Director, Social Welfare Department, Mysuru District, in their respective taluks and submit duly filled application forms before May 10. ST students
Applications have also been invited from students belonging to Scheduled Tribe (ST) for admission to prestigious schools. Those who have passed 5th standard with more than 60% marks can seek admission to 6th standard.
Interested can obtain applications from the Office of the Department of Tribal Welfare or Project Coordinator’s Office before May 2 and submit the duly filled application forms with all the necessary documents.
