Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) has invited applications from interested women Self-Help Groups (SHGs) for implementation of activities under AMRUT-2.0 (Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation) scheme of the Union Government in MCC limits. SHGs who have already registered under DAY- NULM (Deen Dayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Urban Livelihood Mission) scheme are eligible to apply.
The SHGs must follow the five-point formula (holding regular meetings, steady savings, intra distribution of loans, timely repayment of loans and proper maintenance of records), must have at least one member who has a minimum qualification of a pass in eighth standard and has digital literacy, holding an active Bank account, Non-involvement in any criminal or anti-social activities, experience in water-based activities and experience in construction works.
The eligible women Self-Help Groups can obtain the prescribed forms from the MCC Main Office on Sayyaji Rao Road or from the DAY-NULM section office, till June 30. The last date for applying along with the required documents is July 5. Applications received after the deadline either in person or by post, will not be entertained.
