Mysuru: The District Office of Karnataka State Khadi and Village Industries Board, under the Chief Minister’s Employment Generation Plan (CMEGP), has invited applications from eligible candidates from rural areas for granting subsidy.
The age limit for General Category candidates in 35 years and for candidates from all other categories (SC/ST/Backward Classes/Minorities) Differently- abled/ Ex-Servicemen/Woman) is 45 years.
The subsidy upper ceiling for General Categroy candidates is 25 percent (maximum of Rs. 2.5 lakh) of the plan outlay and 35 percent (maximum of Rs. 3.5 lakh) for all other categories.
Those interested can apply online through the Board website: www.cmegp.kar.nic.in by July 12. A copy of the application along with the required documents must be submitted in duplicate to the District Office of Khadi and Village Industries Board in Kuvempunagar. For details call Ph: 0821-2566428.
PMEG Scheme: Under the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation (PMEG) Scheme, the Khadi and Village Industries Commission has invited online applications from eligible persons to run select industrial activities and for operating certain services.
Interested candidates may apply via: www.kviconline.gov.in/pmegpeportal/jsp/pmegponline.jsp. Those who have already applied can contact Karnataka State Khadi and Village Industries Board, District Office, Mysuru along with necessary documents before July 12, according to a press release.
