Retired IAS Officer and writer Dr. C. Somashekar has been appointed as the President of Akhila Bharata Sharana Sahitya Parishat, Bengaluru. Dr. Somashekar will take charge as the new President of the Parishat, which was formed in 1986, at a programme to take place at the Parishat office in Jayanagar, Bengaluru, on Nov. 23 at 3 pm, in the presence of the Parishat’s Hon. Advisor Go. Ru. Channabasappa (GoRuCha) and the outgoing President Apparao Akkone.
