BJP MLA M.P. Renukacharya and former MLA D.N. Jeevaraj have been appointed a Political Secretaries to CM Basavaraj Bommai. Earlier, they were Political Secretaries to B.S. Yediyurappa, the then CM. Renukacharya, a close aide of Yediyurappa, had been nursing disappointment for not being included into Bommai’s Cabinet. Political pundits see these appointments as an attempt to pacify them.
