Under Ayushman Bharat Yojana, applications have been invited for the appointment of part-time yoga trainers for two posts — one male and one female — at three Arogya Kshema Kendras, developed by Ayushman Bharat Yojana for the candidates residing within the Mysuru District limits. As the post is part-time, the candidates can serve only for a maximum period of 11 months. Selected candidates must conduct yoga classes for general public/members of public within allotted time given by the doctors of Ayush Arogya Kshema Kendra at the Centre. As per the instructions of Government of India, the first Yoga trainer should conduct 32 yoga lessons/classes per month while the second yoga trainer should hold 20 yoga classes per month.
Candidates, aged between 21 and 60 years, having a pass in Second PUC or equivalent along with the Certificate of Yoga Trainer issued by the Yoga Certification Board (YCB) or must have experience from any recognised/ reputed Yoga Institution. Local residents will be given preference. Applicants can obtain only one application from one of the clinics. Experience certificate should be mandatorily attached with the application form.
Candidates applying for the post of yoga trainers from Srirampura of Mysuru, Kempisiddanahundi of Nanjangud, Kodagalli of T. Narsipur Arogya Kshema Kendra may obtain the prescribed application forms within Feb. 7 from the District Ayush Office located at Brindavan Extension, in city. Filled-in forms must be submitted by Feb. 15 through registered post, according to a press release.
