Aprenticeship in Journalism for SC,STs; financial aid for Churches

Mysore/Mysuru: Under the special STP plan, the Karnataka Media Academy has invited applications from Post-Graduate degree holders in Mass Communication and Journalism, belonging to SC/ST communities for a three month apprenticeship training. The admission is limited to 25 candidates from SC Community and 10 from ST Community. 

Admission will be based on academic merit and interview. The candidates must have thorough knowledge of Kannada and computers. Applicants must be Post-Graduates in Mass Communication and Journalism and must not be aged above 40. 

Applications must be sent online to: traineekma2020@gmail.com, before Nov.27 or by post to Karnataka Madhyama Academy, Podium Block, Visweswaraya Centre, Dr.Ambedkar Veedhi, Bengaluru-1.

The Minorities Welfare Department too has invited applications from  Church Managements and Christian organisations for availing financial assistance for renovation and repair of Churches, wall construction, construction of cemetery walls, community halls, orphanages, shelter homes and old age homes.

The application forms are available at the Department Office located at Maulana Azad Bhavan, beside Shobha Garden, opposite Dandina Maramma Temple, Mysuru- Bengaluru Road, Mysuru, according to a press release.
