Anveshana Seva Trust, as part of Arasu Pathrike’s 12th anniversary celebrations, will be presenting ‘Dhwani Kotta Dani’ Award to six achievers from various fields at an event to be held at The Institution of Engineers auditorium, JLB Road, on Feb. 16 at 10.30 am.
The awardees include: Kannada Development Authority Member T. Gururaj (Mysuru), Senior journalist Hirenallur Shivu (Chikkamagalur), Sir M. Visvesvaraya Prathishtana Founder-President Ramesh Surve (Bengaluru), All India Postal Employees Association, Mysuru Unit, President N. Krishna, Gurukula Mahasamsthana Administrative Officer Malthesh Urs (Chitradurga) and Yoga exponent Prema Manjunath (Hassan).
The awards ceremony will be inaugurated by AICC General Secretary Suraj Hegde. Kanteerava Studio former Chairperson Vijayalakshmi Urs will preside. MLC Dr. D. Thimmaiah will offer floral tributes to the portrait of Devaraja Urs. Music University Vice-Chancellor Dr. Nagesh V. Bettakote will present the awards to achievers.
Trust Founder-President Arya Amarnathraje Urs will release the special issue of Arasu Prathrike.
Former MUDA Chairman H.V. Rajiv, former Minister M. Shivanna, Vaidyavartha Publications Director H.M.T. Lingaraje Urs, Ursu Jagruthi Academy Charitable Trust Vice-President H.A. Venkatesh and Chutuku Yujacharya Dr. M.G.R. Urs will be the chief guests.
