Mysore/Mysuru: The Young Indians, Mysuru Chapter (Yi Mysuru Chapter), the youth wing of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Mysuru Zone, has organised a two-day Yi Golf Tournament-2022 at the Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Golf Club (JWGC) in city on Oct. 22 and Oct. 23.
Addressing a press meet at Patrakarthara Bhavan here yesterday, Yi Mysuru Chapter Chairperson Abhijna Rajiv said that Yi has created a platform for young Indians to work towards realising a dream of developed nation.
“Yi has been working to build a healthy society. We are making efforts to make Mysuru healthier and fitter by promoting various fitness initiatives and healthy lifestyle. Yi tournament is an initiative to encourage fitness and sports among people. This is the first time we are organising a Golf Tournament in Mysuru,” she said.
Arjun Ranga, Managing Director of N. Ranga Rao and Sons Pvt. Ltd., will inaugurate the tournament at 7.30 am on Oct. 22. Prizes for the winners will be distributed at the valedictory at 7 pm on Oct. 23.
Over 250 golfers including members of JWGC are expected to take part in the tournament which will be held in seven categories. Three titles including ‘Best Yi Golfer’ will be presented. Winners and Runners of the tournament will be presented with trophy, she added.
