Mysuru: In today’s world, with so much of pressure on all sides, it is a huge challenge to bring up children and educate them, said Founder of Centre for Conscious Awareness and International Speaker Srinivas Arka.
He was speaking at the ‘Intelligence Programme’ organised by Arka Dhama, Bogadi at Kautilya Vidyalaya on the topic, “Understanding and Managing Children” here this morning.
He said that just as we sow the seed and nurture it and see it becoming a tree bearing fruits, the child also needs similar nourishment.
“We have to identify the strength of every child and encourage it to discover his/her own strength. In the process, the child will grow and become aware and knowledgeable of his/her own hidden talents,” said Arka.
He also spoke about the global warming and its impact on environment. An interaction session followed with teachers, students and parents and in reply to a question, Arka said that man must strive to attain Ananda (bliss) and added that if there is no Ananda then there is no life.
To achieve this bliss, meditation is very important which will not only help to calm the mind but also help in facing exams, he said.
Arka Dhama Directors Rakhi, Sangeetha, Priya, Dipti Patel, Kalpana, Dharmesh, all from United Kingdom, Padma and Dinesh Lad from Canada and Sandeep from Mysuru and Principal of Kautilya Vidyalaya Dr. L. Savitha were present.
