‘Annadana’ from today till Jan. 23, 2023
Mysore/Mysuru: Sabarimala Sree Ayyappa Pooja Samithi, Sree Ayyappaswamy and Sree Guruvayurappan Temple at the foot of Chamundi Hill, Mysuru, has made arrangements for Maaladharane, Irumudi, bathing and staying at Sri Ayyappaswamy Temple for the convenience of the devotees going on a Vratha to Sabarimala. Maale and Irumudi items will be available for devotees in the temple premises.
Similarly, the 62nd year ‘Ayyappan Vilakku’ programme has been arranged on Dec. 17. From Dec.18 to 21, Mahaganapathi Homa, Ushapuja, Panchagavyam, Panchakam, Kalasapuja, Shiveli, Vadyam, Kalasabhisheka, Udayasthamana Puja, Deepara-dhana, Athalapuja, Sri Bhutha Bali Vilakku and many special pujas are arranged in the morning and evening hours.
Sabarimala Sri Ayyappa Pooja Samithi has, in a press release, requested all the devotees to participate in the puja activities.
Also, ‘Annadana’ has been organised in collaboration with devotees on the occasion of Mandal Puja Mahotsav from Nov. 17, 2022 to Jan. 23, 2023 in the premises of Sri Ayyappaswamy Temple at the foothill everyday between 12.30 pm and 2.30 pm.
Any devotees, who want to donate for the purpose, are requested to contact the temple on Ph: 0821-248688 from 6 am to 12 noon and 5.30 pm to 8.30 pm, according to a press release from Samithi Secretary P. Haridas.
