Mysuru: The Department of Study and Research in Journalism and Mass Communication, Karnataka State Open University (KSOU), has organised a two-day Art and Mind Fest 2024 at KSOU premises in city on Nov. 7 and 8.
MDJA President K. Deepak, Bengaluru’s International Academy of Management and Entrepreneurship (IAME) Director (Academics) and Principal Dr. K. Aparna Rao and Karnataka Sugama Sangeetha Parishat District President Dr. Nagaraj V. Bairy will inaugurate the Fest at Cauvery auditorium of KSOU at 10 am tomorrow. KSOU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sharanappa V. Halse will preside. KSOU Registrar Prof. K.B. Praveena and Academic Dean Dr. N. Lakshmi will be present.
Competitions for students
During the two-day Festival, Drawing, Essay, Debate, Pick & Speak, Mime Act, Quiz and Spelling Bee Competitions will be held for students from Class 8 to 10 and Class 11 and 12 at Ganga and Cauvery auditoriums in KSOU premises.
The valedictory will be held at Cauvery auditorium on Nov. 8 at 3.30 pm. Journalist Amshi Prasannakumar, KSOU Study Centre Dean Dr. M. Ramanatham Naidu, Registrar (Evaluation) Dr. H. Vishwanath and IAME Director (Operations and Strategies) Govindaraj Setty will be present. National Anti Duplication Bureau (NADB) Vice-President Dr. C.V. Srinath Setty will preside.
