Mysuru: Articulate Festival, coordinated by Mysore B. Nagaraj, Managing Trustee, Articulate Trust for Arts, curates an Annual Festival of Classical Dances by children in the age group of 8 to 15 years.
Young prodigies, accomplished in Indian Classical Dance, will present Odissi, Kathak, Kuchipudi and Bharatanatyam during the festival titled UDGAMA-02 on Nov. 21 at 6 pm at Veene Seshanna Bhavana, Kuvempunagar. Entry is free.
This series presents four performances — Bharatanatyam by Pooja Satnur, disciple of Karnataka Kalashree Guru Revathy Narasimhan; Kuchipudi by B.K. Sanjana Prasad, disciple of Guru Rajashree Holla of Laasya Lahari (Kuchipudi School Ofdance), Bengaluru; Odissi by Prisha Sinha, disciple of Guru Madhulita Mohapatra of Nrityantar Academy of Performing Arts, Bengaluru; Kathak by artistes of Articulate Dance Studios, Saina Kadni, Vaibhavi R. Shetty, Vaishnavi R. Shetty, Phalguni V. Kadambalithayat and Shama V. Bharadwaj, disciples of Guru Mysore B. Nagaraj, additionaly trained by Laxminarayan Jena.
