Aryan Roopa Anand, a promising golfer from city, will be playing his first International Amateur Tournament in Malaysia.
The event is 117th Malaysian Amateur Open from June 20 to 23 at Kelab Golf Sarawak (Sarawak Golf Club) in Kuching.
The newly upgraded championship course is 6,394 meters long, par 72, designed to test a player’s ball-striking accuracy and course management skills. It comes with a combination of undulating Paspalum fairways and strategically positioned hazards to provide a great challenge to both the high handicappers and scratch players alike.
Aryan will also play in the Singapore Junior Golf Championship from June 24 to 27 in Singapore. He will be representing India along with three other players Arjun Bhati, Raghav Chugh and Surav Rathi. The team is led by Simerjeet Singh as the Team Manager.
