Ashada: Laddus, Dates Obbattu for devotees atop Chamundi Hill

The Chamundeshwari Seva Samithi, 100 ft Road, Mysuru, which was distributing laddus to devotees at Chamundi Hill Temple on Ashada Fridays for the past 14 years, will be distributing obbattus (sweet flatbread) made of dates along with laddus this year. A total of 20,000 dates obbattus and 5,000 laddus will be distributed to the devotees at the Hill Temple on the first Ashada Friday on June 30, by Arun Kumar Jain and friends on behalf of Chamundeshwari Seva Samithi. Also, the Samithi has been doing flower decoration for the past 28 years and Anna Santharpane for the past 11 years atop the Hill during Ashada Fridays.
