Associations and Societies asked to file Accounts

Mysore/Mysuru: As it has been found that several Associations and Societies are yet to file Audit reports for more than five years, the Co-operation Department has asked them to file Audited Accounts by payment of one-time penalty and subject to some conditions, before December 31, 2020.

The Registration of Associations and Societies will be renewed after filing of Audited Accounts along with one-time penalty of Rs.500 per year. The Registration of those which fail to file Audited Reports by Dec.31,2020, will be cancelled. The Audited Accounts must be filed only by online.

The original copy of the bye-laws, audit reports, list of Executive Committee members, proceedings of Annual  General Body Meeting (AGM), notice of AGM, list of the members who attended the AGM, Registration Certificate and acknowledgement for filing of audit reports of the previous years, must be submitted while filing the audit reports.
