Mysuru: It was a voyage of discovery and a rewarding experience for students who attended the “Atal Tinkering Lab” workshop at Kautilya Vidyalaya on May 13 to gain hands-on experience.
The workshop was an eye opener for young scientists to discover the joy of innovation and ideation using the latest educational technology.
The students had the thrill of programming a humanoid using robotics. They also learnt to use wooden pieces in the lathe machine to create objects of different shapes and sizes.
The 3 D printer also proved an attraction to students as it brought out three dimensional shapes of various virtual images that were larger than life.
More than 30 students from different schools of Mysuru took part in the workshop with high level of enthusiasm under the guidance of resource persons.
