The customer who received torn currencies is Raju Rathnakar of Vidyaranyapuram. Raju visited the SBI ATM in Vidyaranyapuram on Oct.17 and withdrew Rs. 18,000 cash.
When the ATM dispensed the cash, Raju was shocked to find Rs. 8,500 in Rs. 500 denomination torn with some torn currencies being stuck with plaster on the reverse side.
