To provide industry-based training to students
The Department of Mechanical Engineering of ATME College of Engineering (ATMECE), Mysuru and the CADD Centre signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to conduct unique, step by step systematic and employable skill development programme for the students towards achieving the objective of maximising the employable opportunities for students of the college.
Dr. L. Basavaraj, Principal ATMECE and S. Chaithra, Centre Head, CADD Centre, were the signatories for the MOU.
B.R. Ram, National Head, CADD Centre, spoke about the importance of Computer Aided Design (CAD) in the engineering world, as it is used to design and develop variety of products.
Principal Dr. L. Basavaraj, who also spoke, said that the association with CADD Centre is going to benefit students in developing their skills on latest software tools that are being used in industries, which will make them industry ready.
Students and all staff members of Mechanical Engineering Department were present on the occasion.
