Mysuru, Sept. 1- ATME College of Engineering, Mysuru, is providing all four years free education along with transportation facilities for meritorious students, who have secured highest ranking in CET and obtained highest marks in PUC (PCM), under management quota.
The Management of ATME has been encouraging the meritorious students to take up technical education by providing fee concession from the past few years under Vidyaasare Scheme. This facility can be availed by the eligible needy students.
In this academic year, 2019-20, about 16 meritorious students who have scored good marks in II PUC (PCM) category were given free admission under ATME-Vidyaasare Scheme for all the four years.
Out of 16 meritorious students, 10 students were admitted to E&C, four students to CSE and two for ME&EEE stream. ATME will bear an amount of Rs.4.5 lakh per annum and total of Rs.18 lakh for all four years.
During the last academic year 2018-19, a total of 26 students were admitted under the scheme and for the purpose Rs.10.83 lakh per annum and total of Rs.44 lakh for all four years was borne by ATME Management.
