Sir,
With the introduction of 17235/17236 Vishwamanava Express between Mysuru and Hubballi via Bengaluru, passengers find it more convenient to reach Bengaluru and beyond.
Further, this has also eased the trouble of changing train at Bengaluru to reach Hubballi during day time. The direct connectivity to Hubballi from Mysuru has eased travel and provided with better connectivity to North Karnataka region from Mysuru.
Presently, the facility for advanced reservation by this train exists for 2S second seating class only. There is however no arrangement of Air-Conditioned coach for this train which travels 13 hours from Mysuru to Hubballi. The addition of an air-conditioned chair car coach or at least an arrangement of air-conditioned three tier coach will prove beneficial for passengers travelling by this train, especially senior citizens.
Also it is given to understand that for almost all the new long distance day-trains introduced, the facility of air-conditioned coaches is made available. It is interesting to know as to why such an important newly-introduced long distance day train is yet to be attached with an air-conditioned coach. Hence, the South Western Railway authorities concerned are requested to arrange for an air-conditioned coach to Vishwamanava Express at the earliest.
