Mysore/Mysuru: Veteran actor ‘Mukhyamantri’ Chandru and senior journalist Amshi Prasanna Kumar will be conferred with the prestigious ‘Sri Krishna Alanahalli’ State Award at the Kannada Rajyotsava programme organised under the aegis of Janapara Sahitya Parishat, Bengaluru, at SCMS School premises, Alanahalli in H.D. Kote taluk at 9 am on Dec. 25.
H.D. Kote MLA Anil Chikkamadu will inaugurate the programme while Sri Male Mahadeshwara Kshetra Abhivruddhi Pradhikara Secretary A.E. Raghu will preside, according to the Janapara Sahitya Parishat President Dr. M. Mahesh Chikkallur.
Indian Army Officer Bhavya Narasimahmurthy will release the poster of the documentary film ‘Lunch Break.’ Vinutha Krishna Alanahalli will be the guest of honour. The event will also feature a Kavi Goshti (Poets Meet) in which poets Vinoda, Paramesh K. Uttanahalli, Maruti Prasanna, Katyayini and others will take part.
