Mysore/Mysuru: In an effort to create awareness about the freely available comprehensive primary health care services at its Health and Wellness Centres, Health and Family Welfare Department, under the aegis of Ayushman Bharat-Arogya Karnataka scheme, had organised Awareness Jatha at the Office of District Health and Family Welfare Department premises yesterday, which was flagged off by District Health Officer (DHO) Dr. T. Amarnath.
The Awareness Jatha will be held for the next 14 days in all the seven taluks of Mysuru (Hunsur, Nanjangud, H.D. Kote, Periyapatna, Mysuru, T. Narasipur and K.R. Nagar), two days in each taluk. A total of seven art troupes including Anjaneya Kala Sangha, Aniketana Kala Tanda, Arivu Samskritika Kala Tanda, Spandana Samskritika Kala Tanda, Nannavva Samskruthika Kala Sangha, Sambhrama Kala Balaga and Sarvajananga Vedike will be participating in the event.
Department Officer Dr. P. Ravi, District Surveyor Dr. Shivaprasad, District RCH Officer Dr. L. Ravi, Taluk Health Officer Dr. Ravi, District Deputy Health Education Officers Munindramma and Padmavati, District Convenor Arya and others were present.
