Mysuru: Alzheimer’s and Related Disorders Society of India (ARDSI) in association with Sarada Vilas College of Pharmacy held Chamundi Hill climbing jatha to create awareness on Alzheimer’s disease, here recently.
The jatha was flagged off by senior journalist Amshi Prasanna Kumar at the foot of Chamundi Hill.
Speaking on the occasion, he highlighted the need for maintaining good health and added that creating awareness on Alzheimer was the need of the hour as many elders were suffering from the disease.
Inner Wheel Club of Mysore President Pallavi Arun, who was chief guest, appreciated the works taken up by the college and the society to create awareness on the Alzheimer’s disease.
Visvesvaraya Technological University Regional Director Dr. P. Sandhya, Sarada Vilas College of Pharmacy Principal Dr. Hanumanthachar Joshi, ARDSI Vice-President G.S. Ganesh, Secretary K.R. Ganesh Rao and students of Pharmacy College, ATME and other colleges took part in the jatha.
