As part of Savitribai Phule Jayanti celebrations, the Karnataka State Dalita Sangharsha Samiti has organised an Awareness Meet near the statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, opposite Town Hall on Jan.3 at 10 am. Mysuru District in-Charge Minister V. Somanna will inaugurate the event. Former MLA A.H. Vishwanath will preside. Former Karnataka Exhibition Authority (KEA) Chairman Kautilya Raghu and Dalit leader V. Ramaswamy will be the chief guests, according to a press release.
