Mysuru/Mysore: District AIDS Awareness and Control Department, 2/13 Kar. Bn. NCC and Yuva Red Cross Society, had organised a blood grouping and blood donation camp in Sarada Vilas College recently.
Dr. P. Ravi, Director, District AIDS Awareness and Control Department, created awareness regarding blood donation and blood grouping.
About 86 students underwent blood grouping examination and 20 members including NCC Officer donated blood.
Principal Prof. P. Dhanalakshmi presided. B.S. Parthasarathy, President and H.K Srinath, Hon. Secretary, Sarada Vilas Educational Institutions, Dr. Sathyanarayana, Dean, Department of Commerce and Management, Subedar Ranjith Singh, 13 Kar. Bn. NCC, S. Gopal, Senior Staff, K.R. Hospital, Capt. R.A. Manjunath, NCC officer, Sarada Vilas College, attended the programme. Capt. Manjunath welcomed. Senior Under Officer (SUO) B.N. Prajwal proposed a vote of thanks.
