Awareness programme on Apprenticeship Schemes

Mysore/Mysuru: Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India, Regional Directorate of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Department of Industrial Training and Employment, Government of Karnataka, in association with Mysore Industries Association (MIA) and MSME Council have jointly organised a one-day awareness programme on apprenticeship schemes for small and medium scale industries, service and business establishments on Feb. 14 from 9.30 am at Kaveri Auditorium in Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) premises on Hunsur Road here.

Job aspirants and those who lost their jobs due to global economic recession and COVID-19 will be given apprenticeship training with skill enhancement and a stipend of Rs. 1,500 from State Government and Rs. 1,500  from Central Government (total Rs. 3,000 stipend) including other safety facilities.

There will we no participation fees but pre-registration is mandatory. Representatives of industries, service and business establishments, hotels, hospitals, educational institutions are required to register immediately.
