Mysuru, Sept.3- Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited (KREDL), Government of Karnataka Undertaking in association with Department of Mechanical Engineering, Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE), Mysuru, is organising a one-day ‘Awareness Programme on Energy Conservation and Energy Efficiency’ for the students of Mechanical Engineering and Electrical & Electronics Engineering on Sept. 4 at its B.C. Lingaiah seminar hall. It is sponsored by Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power, Government of India.
This programme will be beneficial for students to comprehend about the use of energy sources, energy conservation techniques and pertinent environmental issues. Debate competition will be held for students.
D.K. Dinesh Kumar, Project Engineer, KREDL, Anil Kumar Nadiger, Managing Director, Rachana Ener Care, Dr. B. Sadashive Gowda, Principal, VVCE, Dr. G.V. Naveen Prakash, Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Dr. Shobha Shankar, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, coordinators, Students and faculty will be present.
Dinesh Kumar will deliver a talk on ‘Energy Conservation and Energy Efficiency’ while Anil Kumar Nadiger on ‘Need for Entrepreneur Qualities in the Present Scenario’ according to a press release.
