Mysuru: The Quality Council of India, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, District Industries Centre (DIC), Mysuru, Mysore Industries Association (MIA) and Micro Small & Medium Enterprises Council (MSMEC), Mysuru have jointly organised an awareness programme on ‘Zero Effect Zero Defect’ exclusively for MSME manufacturers during November 2017 in city.
The objective of the programme is to create awareness for MSMEs about ZED manufacturing and motivate them for assessment of their enterprises for ZED rating.
The programme aims to drive manufacturing with adoption of Zero Defect production processes without impacting the environment (Zero Effect). By adopting ZED, MSMEs can reduce wastage, increase productivity. The ZED Certified units will get preference in purchase by Central and State Public Sector Undertakings.
There is no participation fee but admission is restricted to 70 on first-cum-first-serve basis. Industrialists are requested to register online at MIA, KIADB, KRS Road, Mysuru or MSMEC, No.1090, near Law Courts, Chamarajpuram, Mysuru.
For online registration services of MIA and MSMEC, the manufacturers will have to produce PAN, Aadhaar and Udyog Aadhaar number, e-mail address with mobile phone number.
