Ayodhya Ram Mandir: Shashi Tharoor’s lopsided logic

Sir,

Since yesterday afternoon, I have been reading in some newspapers and also watching on TV that the Congress Party is not for building a Ram Mandir at Babri Masjid site in Ayodhya which Hindus believe is the place where Lord Ram was born.

According to Shashi Tharoor, the Congress MP, no good Hindu wants Mandir at Babri Masjid site. Apparently, those who want the temple at the Babri Masjid site, like me, are bad Hindus.

First, India as a country was divided on religious basis and Muslims were given a separate country, Pakistan. Now, people like Shashi Tharoor and the members of the Congress Party want to divide Hindus as ‘Good Hindus and Bad Hindus.’

Tharoor says Hindus cannot have a temple by razing other’s place of worship, but has he forgotten that Babri Masjid was built by razing a temple which existed in that place? Does Tharoor accept construction of a Mosque by razing the other’s place of worship? I will wait for his answer.
