B.M. Punekar (77), retired PWD Executive Engineer and a resident of Kesare 3rd Stage, passed away this morning at a private hospital in city following brief illness. He leaves behind his wife, two sons, two daughters and a host of relatives and friends. Namaz-e-Janaza will be held at Masjid-e-Azam on Ashoka Road at 8.20 pm today, followed by burial at Muslim Burial Grounds near Tipu Circle.
