B.R. Nagaraja Rao (84), a well-known Income Tax Advocate and a former Income Tax Officer, passed away yesterday at a private hospital in city.
A resident of Sankalp Apartments in Srirampura here, he leaves behind his wife Lalitha Rao and daughters Dr. Meera Hegde, Dr. Asha Shekar and Maya Rao.
Nagaraja Rao was a leading I-T Advocate in Hubballi-Dharwad and was also a faculty at a Law College in Dharwad before he moved to Mysuru. He has also written articles for many I-T journals.
Last rites were performed by his daughters this afternoon in city.
