Mysuru: Dr. Renu Agrawal, former Chief Scientist and Rural Programme Coordinator of CFTRI, has received the prestigious ‘Abdul Kalam Life-Time Achievement Award’ from International Institute of Social and Economic Reforms.
The award was given to her by chief guests – Film Director T.N. Seetharam and actress Bhavani Prakash – in the presence of Union Minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda at a glittering function held at Ravindra Kalakshetra in Bengaluru on June 24.
The award was given to Dr. Renu for her untiring work for the society and for taking science to the common man. She is the only woman from Mysuru to get this prestigious national award.
Karamveer Chakra Dr. Renu Agrawal is also a recipient of Kissan Ratna Puraskar, Best Woman Scientist NABS, International Guild of Woman Achievers, Rotary Inner Wheel Suguna Award, Biostandups honour “SHERO.”
