Bags first place in Martial Arts

Parikshith Pradeep has participated in the 12th All India All Style Martial Art Open Tournament held at V.K. Krishna Menon Indoor Stadium, Kozhikode (Kerala), recently and won first prize in Kuji Do Ryu Oshokai Style in the age group of 9 to 11 years Under 43 kg category.

His first match was against  Vishnu of Kerala and won by 13-6 and in the finale, he beat Nagendra of Tamil Nadu by 7-3.

The tournament was conducted by Kaju Kado Karate and Martial Arts Academy, Kozhikode (Kerala). Grand Master Dileep Kumar, Founder of Kaju Kado Karate and Martial Arts, gave away the prizes to the winners.

Parikshith is perusing 4th Grade in National Public School, Mysuru. He is the son of Punitha Pradeep, a trek enthusiast of Mysuru City and Pradeep Srikantaiah, a businessman. Parikshith trains under Dr. Krishnamurthy in Oshokai Martial Arts Academy, Mysuru.
