Mysore/Mysuru: Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru, emerged as Overall Champions in ‘Progyan-2023’, a National-level Management Students Fest held recently at SASTRA Deemed University in Tanjavur, Tamil Nadu.
The event saw the participation of over 200 post-graduate and under-graduate students from across the country, who showcased their knowledge in various disciplines of management and commerce. The fest included six events, namely Finance, HR, Marketing, Best Manager, IPL auction and Business Plan, out of which the college participated in five.
Among the 13 students who represented Amrita in Progyan-2023, nine managed to bag prizes in their respective events. In the Finance event, K.N. Likith and Abhirama Bhat from B.Com 2nd year secured the first prize, while in the HR event, S. Shrushti from B.Com 2nd year and Arvind Venkat from B.Com 3rd year clinched the first prize.
The team comprising R. Ranjana from M.Com 1st year, Dhannushree from B.Com 2nd year and S.V. Dhanush from B.Com 2nd year won the first prize in the Marketing event.
In the Business Plan event, Skanda S. Sharma from B.Com 3rd year, N. Bhumika from B.Com 2nd year and B.K. Yashwanth from M.Com 1st year secured the second prize. R. Sachin from B.Com 2nd year, S.G. Goutham Gupta and Masud Ahmed from M.Com 1st year represented their college in the IPL Auction event.
