Mysuru: The faculty and students of JSS Dental College and Hospital (JSSDCH), JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, Mysuru, attended the 46th Karnataka State and 5th Inter-State Dental Conference held at M.S.Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bengaluru, last month.
Dr. Brinda Suhas Godhi, Reader, Department of Paedodontics and Preventive Dentistry, received the Best Paper Award for the paper titled ‘Dentigerous Cyst Transforming into Unicystic Ameloblostoma – A Case Report’ reported by Dr. K.T. Srilatha, Head, Department of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry, JSSDCH, Mysuru.
Dr. Suman Basavaraju, Reader, Dr. G. Aruna, Lecturer, Dr. Raymond Joseph and Dr. Reshma Sara Joseph, Interns, Department of Periodontology, too bagged prizes — While Dr. Suman secured first prize in Scientific Paper Presentation on the topic titled ‘Effect of Low Level Laser Therapy on Proliferation of GMSCs,’ Dr. Aruna won ‘The Best Poster’ for the poster titled ‘Melatonin: Its Periodontal Implications,’ Dr. Raymond won 3rd prize and Dr. Reshma won the ‘Best Review’ for Poster Presentation titled ‘Nicotine Highway to Hell – An Alternative NRT.’
Dr. J. Pooja won ‘The Best Poster’ for the poster titled ‘Gummy Smile’ guided by Dr. Suma Shekar.
Dr. Sanjana won ‘The Best Poster’ for ‘3D printing- Future of Dentistry’ guided by Dr. Paras Gehlot.
